Middle School – spent a lot of time trying to get Christy Bell, secretary, a working computer. Her computer, as mentioned previously, began performing very slowly and soon was unusable. Reasonable efforts at fixing the problem did not resolve it, so I located and updated a spare from the counselor’s office. Then there was a problem with credentials for an admin user. After resolving that problem, I installed the Wengage student information application and Google Chrome. The overall problem is now resolved and I will persue efforts to get help with her original computer.

Samantha Adkins – was absent and I got a request to assist with her login credentials so that the sub could follow her lesson plan. The keyboard and trackpad were unresponsive. Restart, resetting PRAM, and disk repair did not work. Reinstalled the OS, but it will not complete startup. Working on preparing her a spare.

Karen Townley – reports fan issue with SmartBoard. Blew dust out of projector, no help (there is no filter on this model). Recommended ordering a replacement projector. All of this model SmartBoard (our major install base) are now past expected useful life. We have already replaced about four or five of these projectors.

District – completed inventory and organization of equipment that I will recommend for declaring as surplus.
